Jeremy, (33), Shea, (26), and Billy, (38), are seeking a roommates to move into our quirky, but cozy home in the central district two blocks from Judkins park.
The quick deets:
Move in: Nominally,November 1st, but if you would like to move in early or later, we would rather find the right fit.
Rent: $925 a month + split utilities
Amenities: large basement for outdoor gear storage, washer /dryer, fireplace, full kitchen with two refrigerators, living room, dining room. Technically it's a 5 bedroom house, but it's been nice to keep one bedroom roomateless and finished as a guest bedroom. Two shared bathrooms. The whole area is extremely walkable, and we are on great terms with all of our neighbors.
You would have a lovely, light-filled bedroom that makes up the entire (small) second floor of the house. (Current housemate is moving out, so room will be cleaned and unfurnished). The house has 2 full bathrooms, guest bedroom, covered carport behind locked fence for more storage/project space. One off street parking space, one alley parking space. Unfortunately no dogs or cats allowed.
About us: Billy and Jeremy work for the same rope access company, Shea works in a restaurant. Everyone generally keeps busy with their own hobbies, including dancing, ultimate frisbee, skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
Billy owns a small boat, is always out and about if you ever want to join.
Also a fair amount of dancing and as many silly shenanigans as we can come up with or build in the backyard. At home we strike a good balance of hanging out together in the common spaces for board games, morning coffee, reading by the fire, etc, while also posting up in our rooms when feeling more introverted. Will occasionally host friends if they're traveling through, but generally speaking it's a pretty quiet home.
About you: mostly looking for good vibes in addition to gainfully employed. Looking for someone who's lived communally before, is respectful, reasonable, and communicative, (as we consider ourselves to be). Past that, you tell us!
If you're interested, please respond and tell us about yourself!
We'd like to know:
What you do for work and where?
What your work schedule is like?
What you do for fun?
How long you've lived in Seattle ( or where you're moving from)?
Anything else you'd like to share?
And to weed out spammers, we won't consider responses if you don't answer the following question: if you had to pick one topic or subject that you're most passionate about to have a two hour conversation on, what would it be?
Let us know, and we'll get in touch and arrange a time to come visit the house and meet us!
