Retail Sales Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Retail Sales Associate at Ashley, the world's largest home furnishings manufacturer, you'll guide store guests, inspire them with our products and help them design rooms they love.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Deliver outstanding service and keep a welcoming presence at the front desk

Process sales orders following cash-handling procedures

Help customers with credit applications and financing

Resolve customer concerns independently

Assist with store opening/closing, cash reconciliation and daily checklists

Support inventory and loss prevention, including bi-annual inventory counts

Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs

WHAT YOU BRING

Legally authorized to work in the US; 18+ years old

Able to lift, tug and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

1 year of customer service and/or sales experience (preferred)

Outgoing, friendly communicator who inspires action

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Reliable attendance

COMPENSATION

$17.13 per hour, during and after the first two weeks of training

Bi-weekly and monthly incentives of 0.25%30%, based on products sold and sales volume

Quarterly written sales bonus, expected to range from $0 to $3,500
