Hello! We have a housemate moving out soon, and our household is looking for another subletter! We're a queer & trans household looking for like housemates.
-3bed 2bath, top level of a duplex. Has Washer/dryer. The house is in northern Greenwood, next to the 5, 40, and E-lines (5min walk to each bus-stop), and about a 5-minute drive from Northgate, in a cozy little neighborhood.
-Bedroom is for a single occupant and not shared with others, not considering couples for the room. The pics after living room are the bedroom to be rented.
-Current residents include myself, Joan (he/she), (Moon, they/them), and Ada (she/her). Your bathroom would be shared with 1 other person, Ada. All of us tend to be fairly low key and introverted at home but we'd like someone we get along with too.
-Not wheelchair accessible due to entrance stairwell; interior has a stairwell from front door and down/up to reach garage or main living area & rooms. Drug and alcohol friendly, smoking only allowed outside. Only alcohol rules are no blackout drinking or enough to induce vomiting please (housemate phobia).
-Communal space in fridge and freezer for foodstuffs, and kitchen closet for your personal pantry items.
-We have a large common area that we're not using all of/haven't quite figured out how to make the best use of, and if you want to set anything up in there we'd be happy to accommodate!
-Unit also has a garage for extra storage space, or workshop space if you're interested
-Plenty of natural light in each room, and bedroom has a large window for natural light as well. Only scents are the occasional incense burned in master bedroom, and scents that arise from kitchen cooking. Noise level of house is generally quiet, we occasionally have music playing in communal spaces from kitchen/den and sounds from the den's tv. Intermittent traffic vehicle noises from the main road we're nearby.
-Generally space for parking around neighborhood, no charge.
-No expected labor outside of standard household chores (we have a rotation chart for cycling the dishwasher and taking out the trash).
-Pets are allowed but owner will have to pay the extra pet fees from landlord ($50-100mon). Pets must also be taken care of (not frequent barkers) and be house-trained. Absolutely no cats however, we have allergies.
-Rent would be $950/mon, utilities are ~$200/every 3mo
-$930 security deposit due month of move in, but we're open to payment plans if thats too much up front
-We're looking for someone to move in end of May or start of June this year.
