Looking for a respectful roommate of any gender. LGBTQ+ friendly non-judgmental space. My adult son (28) also lives in the home along with our dog, Jasper. Sorry no dogs or cats since my dog is reactive to animals. He is sweet and loves on humans.
The home is a 1936 Tudor style with a partial lake view from the living room. The bottom floor has a garage, laundry/mud room, a workshop and 2 storage closets to share. Main floor has 2 living rooms, kitchen, shared bathroom, and 2 bedrooms (1 for rent). Top floor has a bedroom and bath where I work from home and sleep. There is a fenced back yard great for lounging or entertaining and a covered/screened porch. Your bedroom is spacious with a walk in closet. In walking distance to a coffee shop and some restaurants. Plenty of street parking.
I’m 50 years old, single, work for a local non-profit. I work from home 3 days a week. I love to go out for live music, spend time with friends, hike, yoga, somatic practices, walks, the beach. I value open communication, personal growth, autonomy, respect and community. My son is 27, AuDHD, loves to read and spend much of his time in his room.
Ideally, a balance of independent schedules and occasional shared meals, dinner parties and backyard bonfires among friends is my hope, but not necessary. Age is not a factor, maturity is. I am open to short term or longer term rental.
