This is a rectangular piece of granite polished on one side and on the edges. There are some superficial blemished on the surface that come clean with common kitchen cleansers. It's heavy though one person can handle it. Would make a lovely insert into a kitchen counter for rolling pastry, or perhaps the top of a table.
