- All Pocock wood singles are incredible works of art are examples of craftsmanship that is difficult to find anymore but this is a unique one-of-a-kind shell as it is a lightweight standard hull (not a teardrop) built by Bob Brunswick and Roger Payne (the first owner of the boat and employee at Pocock).
- The boat is fantastic to row and sings on the water.
- Overall in very nice shape, refinished and re-decked just a few years ago.
- Riggers are painted steel with a little surface rust on them but nothing structural that I can see.
- I would estimate the comfortable max weight for rower in this boat is around 160 Lbs. I was able to row it at 175 but it was low in the water as it was built as a lightweight men’s 1x and would fit that weight range +/- very comfortably.
- Oars are not included but I may have a pair of wood oars for a bit more
- The shell is at the Lake Washington Rowing Club in Seattle.
