“I’ve been taking lessons from Brent since I was 9 years old. He was my first piano teacher and he has been my favorite. He is a very skilled pianist, and is knowledgeable with both technique and theory. I highly recommend Brent to anyone who wants to start playing, or anyone who wants to pick up the instrument again. Brent is great!”

“Brent is one of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure to learn from. I am an adult beginner, and he makes classes fun. He explains things very well, and he’s patient, kind, and funny. He finds music that is interesting for me to play, so I look forward to practicing and going to class. He meets me where I am at, and his teaching style puts me at ease to try something new. I highly recommend Brent to anyone interested in learning music or taking their skills to the next level. #BestTeacherEver”

“We have only worked with Brent for a few months but our son’s piano skills have already skyrocketed. We started with 45 minute lessons and after just a month, our kid was begging to push lessons to an hour. Brent does a fantastic job blending traditional repertoire with contemporary music. He is great with kids while making sure their musical interests/preferences are encouraged. We are very glad to have found Brent and look forward to working with him for years to come.”

“We tried another piano teacher before Brent and our kindergartner dreaded the whole thing. It was very formal and prescribed. Then we switched to Brent and at the first lesson, Brent wrote out the fingering to Darth Vader’s theme song to our son’s delight. They made up their own songs, tapping into our son's creativity and the experience of making music, not just following along. We still have the typical groans about practicing, but after lessons, our son is encouraged by his progress and Brent’s supportive instruction. Brent also has remarkable patience and good humor in the face of wily kid expressions and wiggles.”
