Learn 50 Chinese characters with a simple two-page handout and online learning resources.
You will also learn about the Chinese Zodiac, an ancient Chinese tradition that uses animals to represent the year, month, day, and traditional time period of a person’s birth. I will personally guide you through the process and help you create your complete Chinese Zodiac birth profile.
The Chinese Zodiac has a history of more than 2,500 years. In this class, we will explore traditional ideas about how zodiac relationships have been used to think about practical questions, such as:
Is entrepreneurship a good fit for you?
What kinds of employees may work well together in a small business?
How can larger organizations think about building smaller teams?
How can parents think about their children’s strengths and development?
How have people traditionally thought about compatibility when choosing a partner?
The Chinese Zodiac is a fascinating part of traditional Chinese culture. Learning it can give you a new way to explore Chinese history, culture, and traditional ways of thinking.
