Scooter & E-Bike Battery Swaps | Vehicle Moves | Weekly Pay
Want to work outdoors, stay active, and get paid based on your hustle? We’re looking for dependable independent contractors to help service shared electric scooters and bikes throughout the Seattle area.
This is NOT a traditional hourly job. You decide how hard you work, and your earnings are based on completed tasks.
Job Duties
Change depleted scooter and e-bike batteries.
Move scooters and bikes to designated locations.
Perform simple field services such as:
Adding air to tires
Minor brake adjustments
Retrieve abandoned or offline vehicles.
Current Pay Rates
Downtown
Batteries – $2.19
Scooter Moves – $3.10
Bike Moves – $3.55
South of I-90 / Stadium Area
Batteries – $2.64
Scooter Moves – $4.01
Bike Moves – $4.46
Services
$2.00 base
+$1.50 bonus for each successful repair
Retrievals
$4.00 - $11.00+ depending on location and how long the vehicle has been sitting.
Earning Potential
Experienced contractors who stay focused and work a full day can often complete 150-200 tasks per day, depending on demand, route planning, and efficiency.
Requirements
Reliable vehicle (car, SUV, van, or truck)
Valid driver’s license
Auto insurance
Smartphone with data plan
Able to lift approximately 45 lbs repeatedly
Self-motivated and dependable
Comfortable driving in downtown Seattle and heavy traffic
Must have enough gas money to get started (weekly pay with the first week held back)
Performance Expectations
To remain an active contractor, you must maintain an average of 250 completed tasks per week.
