* Position: 06 Low Voltage Technician / Installer
* Employment Type: Full-Time
* Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus full benefits (Medical, Dental, 401k match, and Paid Time Off).
* Equipment Provided: Company service vehicle, fuel card, and major specialized power tools/testing equipment.
* Systems Installation: Lead the rough-in, trim, and commissioning of low-voltage systems including structured data cabling (Cat6/Fiber), IP CCTV, biometric/card access control, commercial intercoms, and integrated gate/garage automation.
* Blueprints & Schematics: Read and interpret architectural blueprints, structural plans, wiring schematics, and technical manuals to execute flawless installations.
* Testing & Diagnostics: Utilize advanced testing equipment (fluke meters, network analyzers) to map, label, and certify copper and fiber runs, troubleshooting complex signal or continuity issues on the fly.
* Site Management & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized work environment, adhere strictly to NEC/OSHA safety compliance standards, and coordinate cleanly with on-site general contractors or clients.
* Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on field experience in commercial or residential low-voltage installation.
* Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of relay logic (NO/NC contacts), power supplies, hardware drop installations (maglocks, strikes, crash bars), and basic networking configuration.
* Problem Solving: Ability to work independently, think critically through layout challenges, and adapt to changing job site conditions without sacrificing quality.
* Professionalism: Strong communication skills, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
