The iFi was designed specifically for computer audio and connects easily using a standard 3.5mm mini-lug connection. It makes an excellent computer audio system, but its sound quality is good enough to serve as a compact music system for a desk, office, or secondary listening room.
You can use an cell phone or tablet to play through a 3.5 mm jack if so equipped or a USB-C to 3.5 mm mini plug adapter. You can also use any number of the inexpensive streamers with DACs like a Wiim or Fosi Audio device, as lond as they have a 3.5 mm jack or a USB port.
They can also be mounted on a wall if desired.
