Offset color lithograph by Northwest Native American artist Joe Feddersen. It has a fantastic blend of elements including early digital art, abstract self portrait, and Native American basket weaving. Untitled, pencil signed and numbered 9/100, printed by Robert Franklin at Brandywine Workshop and Archives in 1989. It measures 20” x 29.5” and is in very good condition. Feddersen is a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation and has exhibited internationally since the early 1980’s. As a printmaker, basket maker, ceramicist, and glass artist, he combines contemporary materials with Native iconography that explore the interrelationships between urban symbols and Indigenous landscapes. His work is in numerous institutions, including the Seattle Art Museum, Whitney, National Museum of the American Indian, Heard Museum and Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, among many others.
