Background: I've had this truck since 2020 and it's never let me down. Its been the only 4WD vehicle in the family and I've driven it almost every day that it's snowed since then.
Selling as there's a new driver in the family and I'm out of parking spots.
The truck has been well maintained at Cmarr Automotive (south Seattle) and Johnson's Auto Repair (north Seattle). I've stayed on top of oil changes and generally have fixed stuff when it broke. The most significant repair was replacing the front differential.
THE GOOD
• Reliable
• Interior is clean
• No mechanical problems
• Low mileage for the year
• Heat blows hot
• AC blows cold
• Power windows
• Power steering
• Power door locks
• Power adjustable mirrors
• Seating/seatbelts for six
• 4WD works perfect in high and low
• Tinted windows
• Running boards
• Trailer hitch and associated wiring
• Has trailer brake connector
• Battery is ~two years old
• Modern touchscreen stereo with backup camera - screen retracts into the dash when turned off
• Already has holes drilled for the Haul-Master 800 lb. Capacity Full-Size Truck Rack (available from Harbor Freight for $299), which is an AWESOME rack - more on that below
THE BAD
• Body isn't perfect
• The stereo is just okay - my focus was on getting a backup camera and something that could pickup Mariners games on AM radio
• Parking brake needs adjustment - it doesn't hold like it should
• The temperature gauge does not provide an accurate reading (mechanic verified: it reads hotter than the engine is)
THE ANNOYING
• The ignition key is different than the door key
• Cruise control doesn't work
• Driver's door power lock doesn't work (though lock operates just fine manually)
• Overhead/dome light doesn't come on when you open the drivers door (does for the passenger door)
• The turn signal indicator is pretty quiet
• Sometimes at freeway speed the drivers door mirror gets pushed a little bit closed from the wind. It's got a blind spot mirror on there that works well enough so I've never bothered to fix it.
THE UGLY
• The truck was stolen about 5 years ago. The thieves destroyed the steering column so I had it replaced (which is why it takes two different keys)
• They also threw out the front license plate and stripped off the truck rack & tool box which scratched up some of the paint
