About 40 years ago I worked for Niels Diffrient, the designer of what I believe to be are the nicest office chairs, the Freedom chair. He also designed for Steelcase, Knoll, and many others. He was a partner at Henry Dreyfuss, and he was a pioneer in the field of ergonomics and human factors. The chairs are built in the US by Humanscale, it is the Freedom model. We have been using six black ones for our dining room. We have downsized and are therefore selling two of them.

Priced low for quick sale (and firm) at $350 each. We may consider selling two more, if someone wants a set of four, but since we would have to replace them with new chairs, the second two are $500 each.
