Long standing nonprofit that has been providing support and services for infants and toddlers in the Greater Seattle area since 1942 is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their team. This is an immediate need to handle the following duties:
• Support the recruitment process by preparing/posting job listings, screening resumes, conducting phone screens; and other
scheduling and paperwork support as needed.
• Conduct and track background checks for new hires and renewals through DSHS.
• Prepare onboarding materials, conduct new employee orientations if needed, and file necessary new hire documents.
• Conduct New Hire Check Ins with new employees after 60 days of employment.
• Conduct Exit interviews, as requested, for departing employees.
• Support Leave of Absence administration, through tracking, employee communications, etc.
• Assist with benefits administration by processing benefit enrollment paperwork and terminations; ensuring COBRA paperwork
is processed when needed.
• Prepare separation letters when employees depart.
• Maintain employee files and other employee information in Paychex; maintain and create forms in DocuSign as needed.
• Track and help organize employee training – i.e. CPR and other annual requirements.
• Monitor the HR inbox on a daily basis; respond to or escalate questions/inquiries as needed.
• Provide general support to the annual Performance Review and Benefit Renewal processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
They are looking at 20 to 30 hours per week; to start this would mostly be an onsite role however there is flexibility once you are up to speed so do a couple days remote.
