- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence and enthusiasm when recommending products and services
- Retail experience and an interest in beauty, hair, fashion, and wellness
- A collaborative spirit and willingness to learn, grow, and share knowledge
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a busy salon environment
- A Washington State cosmetology license is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome every guest and create a memorable first impression
- Offer guests coffee, tea, champagne, or other refreshments
- Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and the daily salon schedule
- Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with scheduling
- Educate guests about AVEDA products and make thoughtful recommendations
- Support retail sales while providing personalized, service-focused product guidance
- Check guests out accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a polished, clean, and organized front desk and guest areas
- Monitor, organize, and restock product and color inventories
- Communicate effectively with stylists and the salon owner to keep the day running smoothly
- Help maintain the welcoming, elevated atmosphere that our guests have come to expect
Location:
North Capitol Hill, Seattle
Our salon is conveniently located near several major bus routes, including Routes 12 and 8, with easy connections to Routes 48 and 10. Street parking is also available.

10:00 AM–6:30 PM
