O.B. Williams Company has been producing exceptional custom architectural woodwork in Seattle since 1889. We're looking for an experienced cabinetmaker to join our team of skilled craftspeople.
This is an opportunity to work on challenging, one-of-a-kind projects—not repetitive production work. Our shop produces custom cabinetry, paneled doors, architectural millwork, and detailed interiors for demanding residential and commercial projects.
We're looking for someone who knows the trade, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering excellent work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Fabricate and assemble high-quality custom cabinetry and architectural millwork.
• Read and interpret detailed shop drawings.
• Perform precision fitting, assembly, and problem-solving.
• Work with our CNC, Rough Mill, Door & Frame, Engineering, and Finishing departments.
• Safely operate professional woodworking machinery.
• Take ownership of quality, accuracy, and productivity.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Several years of professional cabinetmaking or architectural millwork experience.
• Ability to read detailed shop drawings and work independently.
• Strong fitting, assembly, and general woodworking skills.
• Experience with custom architectural woodwork or a commercial cabinet shop preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Dependability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
We welcome applicants from other professional woodworking backgrounds who have the skills to contribute immediately. This is not a trainee or entry-level position.
