Short-term or long-term.
The available room is for one person. It has great light and a view of the mountains/lake. It is large with 3 big windows and a good-sized closet. There is a full-size bed and some furniture that you are welcome to use with no additional charge.
Rent is $900 + $100/month for all utilities including wifi. There is a damage deposit of $800 which is fully refundable after move-out if there’s no damage.
The University of Washington and the U-District light rail station are both a 15-minute walk away. Safeway and Trader Joe’s are also close.
The available bedroom is on the second floor, where there are 3 other bedrooms. There is a full bath which the 4 people share, and a powder room on the main floor
Our vintage house has a well-equipped, renovated kitchen. You can use all common spaces and the garden. There’s lots of art and plants. We have a piano which you’re welcome to play.
Street parking. ( Zone 6 permit can be purchased from the City of Seattle.) We have a bike shed which is kept locked.
We are cannabis-friendly, but there’s no smoking inside.
We recycle/compost per Seattle city ordinance.
We do our best to live with creativity, open communication and respect. (And lots of laughs.)
This is a quiet house.
