Offered here is a 1983 Colnago Donna, a step-through frame bicycle that is, as far as can be determined, completely unique. It was custom ordered — almost certainly at the annual Milan Bike Show, where the original buyer was a regular attendee — and built to specifications you simply won't encounter again.

The frame is dressed in a striking purple and gold livery, with gold-plated head lugs, fork, and rear stays that catch the light like jewelry. Every tube junction carries full Colnago pantograph work — the painstaking engraved detailing that Colnago reserved for its finest builds. The frame itself is constructed from Columbus tubing, the gold standard of Italian racing bikes.

Ridden approximately 3 kilometers in its entire life, this bicycle is in extraordinary condition. It is, in every meaningful sense, new — a time capsule from the golden era of Italian hand-crafted cycling.
