Chinese Coromandel folding screen / room divider in black lacquer, decorated on both sides.

Front: hand-painted palace court scene with figures and a moon gate.
Back: birds, blossoms, bamboo and ducks in soft gold and pastel tones.
Brass hinges and capped feet.

Six panels, 72" tall x 96" wide fully opened (16" per panel). Folds accordion-style, so it can span less and stores flat.

Good vintage condition - glossy lacquer with light wear/crazing consistent with age; please see photos. Solid, stands well.
