Genuine vintage 5C Auratone studio monitors: Jack Wilson's original design features high-grade transducer and carefully designed cabinet engineered to provide accurate presentation of mid-range. The speaker is designed to confirm quality of mix - imaging, definition, frequency assignment. The idea is that if the mix sounds good on the 5C's - that is to say "average performance" systems - then the mix will sound good anywhere.

Search on-line and see the current price for these babies. If 5C's are what you're looking for then $250 for the pair is more than fair. I purchased these new from the factory (matched SN’s 727818 and 727897) The speakers have been sealed in plastic and stored in favorable climate-controlled condition for several years. Please note: A photo has been attached showing the equipment test chain currently used to verify performance.
