This is a 25 year-old processor which in its day was state-of-the-art, retailing for $2799 in 2001. Sadly, it has no modern video connections, no HDMI, etc. It does have AM/FM tuner.
I just pulled it out of service from a surround sound system in my home. If you have a cable box with an optical audio output, you can send the HDMI directly to your screen and use this for excellent low budget surround sound with the digital optical audio. That’s what I did. I may even have an optical cable for you.
You could also use this for a really nice introduction to mid-fi two channel stereo, with a two channel amp. It does have sub outputs.
Can’t vouch for the tuner section, never used it. I have used TV, SAT, Aux and DISC 1 inputs.
It was conceived and engineered by the legendary team at Sonic Frontiers. It has classic Sonic Frontiers neutral sound. It does not contain any tubes like SFI gear does. It is very solidly built at 24 pounds.
5/10 cosmetically. Comes with remote(works), manual and heavy duty IEC cord.
