This colorful art bike started as Diamond Back’s first mountain bike, the 1982 Ridge Runner. The frame is lugged, Tange double-butted chromoly steel with the original matching biplane style Tange butted fork. It was hand painted and decorated then updated with a mix of new and vintage parts. It’s now a practical city cruiser with a head-turning touch of whimsy. The Soma bars provide a generous, wrist-friendly sweep. A full vintage black-trimmed Shimano LX group has mountain capable gearing for the steepest grades. Also includes new Sim Works tires, a new WTB Volt saddle and new extra-long grips.
