Technician Scheduler / Administrative Coordinator

We are looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Technician Scheduler to join our team. This position is a key part of our daily operations and serves as the central point of communication between our field technicians, contractors, and clients.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can multitask, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and confidently manage changing schedules and priorities.
Position Overview
As a Technician Scheduler, you will coordinate the daily activities of our field technicians while helping ensure our clients receive timely and accurate service. Your responsibilities will include answering incoming calls, scheduling technicians, communicating with contractors and clients, preparing the next day's schedule, and entering concrete and soils testing data.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to scheduling requests
• Coordinate with field technicians to confirm availability and assign job sites
• Communicate professionally with contractors and clients regarding schedules, changes, and project requirements
• Prepare and distribute the next day's technician schedule
• Track and communicate last-minute schedule changes in real time
• Enter concrete and soils testing data accurately and promptly
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, technician assignments, and test results
• Assist with coordinating multiple projects and technician assignments throughout the day
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and contractors
• Work closely with management and field personnel to keep daily operations running smoothly
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and friendly phone manner
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adjust quickly when schedules change
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Experience with scheduling, dispatching, construction, or laboratory software is preferred
• Previous experience in construction materials testing (CMT) is a plus, but not required
