This traditional gaff rig cutter was modeled and cast from a 17 ft wooden captains gig used in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. The sail rig was taken from drawings of us English fishing cutter built in 1860 by Dan Hatcher which is still sailing today. The build began in Los Angeles in 2010, with the first launch on the Hudson River six years later. Many improvements have been made since that including an additional inboard electric motor. the boat is in good condition and ready to sail. The trailer is custom-made for the boat also included are anchor, moorings lines, fenders, ect . The hull length is 17 ft. The LOA 23ft.
