1877 BRONZE INDIAN HEAD CENT
NO MAKER'S MARK 1950's-60's
Excellent condition, no dents or scratches
A solid bronze oversized replica of the classic 1877 Indian Head cent.
It is cast in heavy bronze with a dark patina.
It features the full Indian Head obverse with "LIBERTY"
on the headband and the traditional ONE CENT wreath reverse.
This is a mid-century paperweight-style casting, produced
as a novelty or souvenir item. These solid bronze versions were made
in smaller quantities than the lightweight aluminum replicas
and are valued for their weight, color, and crisp detail.
The 3" size was phased out by the late 1970s.
Perfect for a desk paperweight or a centerpiece for
an Exonumia collection.
