Hive V.O.C., a growing restaurant supply distributor, is looking for a dependable, hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our Sarasota team.
This is a 35–45 hour per week position with morning shifts. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, works well independently, and provides exceptional customer service.
Schedule
We can offer either:
4 days × 10-hour shifts
5 days × 8-hour shifts
Morning start times
Approximately 35–45 hours per week
Job Responsibilities
Delivery
Load delivery trucks each morning
Deliver restaurant supplies to bars, restaurants, hotels, and hospitality businesses
Deliver paper goods, foodservice disposables, janitorial/sanitation supplies, chemicals, and general restaurant supplies
Verify deliveries for accuracy
Provide friendly and professional service to customers
Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle
Warehouse
Pull and prepare customer orders
Load trucks accurately and efficiently
Receive incoming shipments
Check in and put away inventory
Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
Clean driving record is required
Valid driver's license
Dependable transportation to and from work
Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. comfortably and repeatedly
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and making deliveries
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Personable with exceptional customer service skills
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Must take care of company vehicles, equipment, and customer orders
Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
