FROM CHADRON, NEBRASKA
BY THE ALMAR METAL ARTS CO.
POINT MARION, PA. 1950's-60s
Very good vintage condition for your Exonumia Collection
The Almar Metal Arts Co. with address is on the coin
This piece made of solid bronze has a dark bronze patina
and has excellent weight to it, making it perfect as a desk
paperweight or a centerpiece for an exonumia collection.
Almar used these heavier bronze and brass compositions
predominantly during 1950's through 1970's.
They were mass-produced blanks, and Almar would stamp
any town name requested by a business,
chamber of commerce, or souvenir distributor, thus:
Chadron, NE, possibly for tourist souvenirs.
It was picked up by the family approximately 1950s-60s
