The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Web Developer for a short-term contract to update and enhance our existing company website. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled developer to make a significant impact on our online presence.
Project Scope:
The primary goal of this project is to update and improve website performance. Specific tasks may include one or all of the following:
• Website Audit & Optimization: Conduct a thorough review of the current WordPress site for performance, security, and SEO best practices. Implement necessary optimizations.
• Content Updates: Assist with updating existing content and structuring new content effectively.
• Security Enhancements: Implement measures to improve the overall security of the site.
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP, MySQL).
• Experience with website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Ability to work independently, remotely and communicate effectively.
• A portfolio of previous WordPress projects is highly desirable.
Contract Details
This is a short-term contract position. The duration and specific deliverables and compensation will be discussed during the interview process. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
