The Little Town Club
Availability Required: Monday and Wednesday mornings, occasional Thursday mornings, and evenings as needed for private events
Pay: $23/hour
Location: Downtown Santa Barbara
We are a private social club located downtown. Our restaurant has rotating seasonal menus as well as permanent staples. We are looking for a cook to work part time morning shifts (Monday and Wednesday 7am - 2:30pm) consisting of prep and salad station for lunch service. We also have special events for lunches and dinners a few times a month that will allow an additional Thursday morning shift as well as a couple evenings (around 4pm - 9pm depending on specifics of event).
Responsibilities:
- Food Prep: vegetables, portioning proteins, sauces and dressings, weighing out ingredients
- Organizations and Cleanliness: receiving and stocking deliveries, maintaining FIFO, following all food safety requirements
- Station: clean, organized, and prepped for service
- Team communications: coordinate timing with hot line
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years in a professional kitchen
- Skills: strong knife skills, familiarity with kitchen equipment, knowledge of food safely, desire to learn
- Availability: Monday and Wednesday 7am - 2:30pm, occasional Thursdays 7am - 2:30pm, occasional evenings (a couple times a month with one month notice)
