The Kwakiutl are an Indigenous group of 3,600 people based on northern Vancouver Island and mainland British Columbia. They are renowned for sophisticated woodcarving (totem poles), the potlatch ceremony, and a social structure divided into clans including Raven, Killer Whale, Eagle, and Wolf.
These servers have 2 figures depicted on totem poles that are attached to the handles.
I have left the servers with their original patina in case this is a buyers preference. If/when polished they would be shiny and perfect. They have never been used, therefore have no marks or signs of wear.
