We are an established Renaissance clothing company looking for an experienced, dependable sewist to help us create our unique clothing and costumes.
All sewing is completed in your own home or personal workspace using your own equipment. There is no need to travel to a workplace or sew on-site—you can enjoy the flexibility of working from home on your own schedule while meeting agreed-upon production deadlines.
We provide all fabric, patterns, trim, and other materials. You provide your sewing expertise, equipment, and workspace.
This is ongoing independent contract work, paid by the piece, with a steady and substantial amount of production available for the right person.
What You’ll Need
* An appropriate sewing workspace in your home
* Your own sewing equipment
* Your own serger and experience using it
* ¼-inch grommet-setting tools
* Strong garment-construction and finishing skills
* The ability to produce consistent, professional-quality work
* Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines
Compensation is paid by the piece, with established rates based on each garment.
Materials and completed garments are exchanged weekly in Santa Barbara, so you must be able to pick up and drop off there.
