Project Manager / Senior Project Manager | Arndt Construction Inc. | Santa Barbara, CA
Arndt Construction Inc. is a Santa Barbara general contractor with 12 years of experience building residential, commercial, and healthcare projects, including custom residential projects, medical office TI's and hospital TI's. We've grown exponentially over the last 5 years, and currently cannot take on all opportunities, and are adding a PM who wants to grow with us.
The role
You'll typically manage 2 active projects at a time, ranging from $1.5-6 million dollars each, from bidding and preconstruction handoff through closeout. You'll own budget, buyout, contracts, change orders, scheduling, and the owner relationship, working alongside a dedicated superintendent and APM/project engineer/admin support. This is a hybrid office/field role based in Santa Barbara county. Mastery of Procore project management and financial tools is important.
What you bring
• 5+ years in construction project management on commercial or residential projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with Procore, P6, and the Microsoft Office or Google suite
• Solid understanding of job cost accounting and forecasting
• Clear communication and a reputation for being trustworthy and easy to work with
What we offer
• Base salary: $120k-135k (PM) or $135k-165k (Senior PM), based on experience
• Bonus of 15-50% of base, tied to client satisfaction, project profit, schedule, closeout milestones
• Company vehicle and fuel card
• 2 weeks PTO with a added week at 5 year milestones to 4 weeks PTO, 1 week paid holiday, potential for 1 week paid holiday closure (depends on company workload and particular jobs), typical 100% company-paid medical, dental and vision for employee depending on plan selected, and a 401(k) with 4% match
• Training and a path to Senior PM or Operations roles
