Compensation: $25 per hour (with guaranteed bump to $30/hour after 1 year)
Schedule: All Sundays (3:30 PM start time, with anywhere from variable 8-12~ hour days)
We're seeking a reliable, hardworking Broadcast Operator (Technical Director)/Production Assistant to help with an on-going 1x per week podcast production.
This is a fast-paced environment involving live streaming, multiple cameras, and talent coordination. We're looking for someone who is punctual, organized, and able to stay calm under pressure.
Experience desired but not necessary, training will be provided.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- PRIMARY: Live stream operation via OBS: Switching camera angles, highlighting chats, monitoring stream quality, etc.
- Assist with various tasks/task running
- Assist with guest check-in and talent releases
- Help seat and organize guests before filming
- Brief guests on pre-show instructions
- Keep studio space organized
- Basic/light studio upkeep
- Scene setup (microphones, chairs, etc)
- Assist producers and crew with various tasks as needed
- Help maintain an efficient production environment
Requirements:
- Must be extremely reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to take direction and stay calm under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficiency with Windows desktop computers
Preferred (but not required):
Familiarity with OBS, YouTube/Twitch livestreams
