About the Role
Want to build a career in high-end residential construction? We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent. In this entry-level, hands-on role, you will work directly alongside our Project Superintendent and Project Coordinator on active job sites, running the mobile office, coordinating schedules, and learning how custom luxury homes are remodeled and built from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Project Documentation & Tech:
Update schedules, manage drawing sets, keep daily site logs, and track daily to-do items.
Subcontractor & Material Logistics:
Place and track material orders, coordinate job-site deliveries, and follow up with trade partners on bids and task progress.
On-Site Support:
Assist with layout, quality control inspections, safety checks, and daily site coordination.
Communication:
Keep lines of communication open between field crews, superintendents, and project coordinators.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Construction Knowledge:
Must have a basic foundational understanding of construction processes, terminology, or site environments, paired with a strong eagerness to learn and grow.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable using an iPad, computer, and software like Excel daily.
Strong Communicator:
Clear, proactive, and comfortable making phone calls to subcontractors and vendors.
Organized & Reliable: Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to juggle shifting site priorities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to spend most of the workday on active job sites in varying conditions and lift up to 40 lbs.
Nice to Have:
Not required, but it's a plus if you have:
Reading basic construction plans/blueprints.
College coursework or degree in Construction Management or a related field.
