• Perform fry screams, false chord growls, gutturals, and pig squeals.
• Switch vocal techniques rapidly during fast tempos.
• Maintain breath control and stamina over a full live set.
• Articulate lyrics clearly at tempos exceeding 200 BPM.
• Write lyrics and vocal patterns over instrumentation.
• Project vocals using proper diaphragm technique to prevent vocal cord damage.
• Manage a microphone and monitor mix during live performances.
Audition Process:
1. Submit video playthroughs of two songs showing live vocals.
2. Provide isolated audio tracks of vocals recorded over a backing track.
3. Include a video demonstrating a range of vocal styles from lows to highs.
Must be willing and able to contribute to and practice at our rehearsal space in Santa Ana.
Remote writing and pre-production abilities are a plus but not a requirement.
