Production Era: Originally introduced in the late 1930s to early 1940s (circa 1943).
Design Elements: Features an embossed, large-petaled magnolia or floral medallion design on both sides. It is accented by a fluted, wave-scalloped rim, two elegant scroll-end handles, and a heavily ribbed, rounded base.
Glaze Style: This particular piece utilizes an Ivory or Antiqued White semi-matte glaze featuring a brown wipe overlay. The dark overlay rests inside the carved details to visually emphasize the floral outlines and texturing.
Dimensions: Mold #1183 typically stands roughly 6 to 6.5 inches tall and stretches about 7.5 inches wide across the handles.
