Magdalen Arms Apartments is currently seeking a reliable and experienced part-time independent contractor to assist with ongoing property maintenance and repair needs.
Responsibilities may include:
* Performing weekly property walks to identify maintenance, safety, or repair concerns
* Completing general maintenance and minor repairs as needed
* Responding to emergency maintenance calls when emergencies occur at the property
* Troubleshooting maintenance issues and recommending appropriate repairs
* Providing estimates for needed repairs
* Completing repairs after receiving approval from management
* Communicating clearly with management regarding property conditions, repairs, materials needed, and completed work
* Providing documentation and/or invoices for completed work
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
* Dependable and responsive
* Experienced with general property maintenance and repairs
* Comfortable working independently
* Able to identify potential maintenance concerns during property walks
* Available for occasional emergency maintenance calls
* Able to provide estimates before completing larger repairs
* Professional when communicating with residents and management
Experience with apartment or rental-property maintenance is preferred.
This is not a full-time maintenance position. We are looking for a local contractor who can provide ongoing part-time assistance as maintenance needs arise.
