This is a very old blanket chest that was handcrafted in the early 20th century or before. It is a family owned piece and is very rustic and would make a nice accessory in a cabin. It stands 20-3/4 inches off the ground. The lid measures about 38 inches by 18 inches. The inside portion measures about 36 inches by 15-3/4 inches. It show some wear mainly to the top which looks like perhaps old dried masking tape residue. It shows some expected scuffs and scratches for such an old chest. There is a hasp for a lock. Nice vintage piece! * Tap on "More Ads By This User" to see my other vintage and antique items.
