CONSTRUCTION MEASURING TECHNICIAN

Flexible Part-Time Work – Maryland Eastern Shore & Lower Delaware

Interior Image MD is looking for a reliable person with residential construction experience to visit potential job sites, take accurate measurements, take detailed photos, and send organized project information back to our office.

You do NOT need to sell the job or prepare the final estimate.

This is a flexible, field-based position that is ideal for a contractor, handyman, retired tradesperson, home inspector, or experienced construction worker looking for additional income.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Visit residential properties for scheduled appointments
• Measure rooms, windows, doors, exterior areas, decks, roofing, and other project areas as needed
• Take clear, detailed photographs
• Document existing conditions and basic project requirements
• Send measurements, photos, and notes back to the office
• Communicate professionally with homeowners

WHAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO DO

• No high-pressure sales
• No collecting customer payments
• No preparing the final customer proposal
• No making unauthorized pricing commitments

REQUIREMENTS

• Residential construction knowledge
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone with a good camera
• Tape measure and/or laser measure
• Professional appearance and communication
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

COMPENSATION

$35 per completed appointment, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

Travel compensation may be provided for longer-distance appointments.

Additional commission opportunities may also be available on qualifying projects.

Most appointments take approximately 10-15 minutes.

SCHEDULE

Part-time and flexible. Appointments are scheduled based on customer availability throughout Maryland's Eastern Shore and Lower Delaware.
