This beautiful dresser was constructed by Meredith Furniture Company. The dresser has been completely refinished and given a fresh, timeless look while preserving the character and craftsmanship of the original piece.
Made entirely from solid maple, this is a substantial, beautifully constructed dresser with gorgeous natural wood grain - each drawer (12 total) is stamped with the Meredith Furniture mark, adding a unique piece of history to the dresser.
The original wood top was carefully sanded back to reveal the natural maple grain and then stained to bring out its warmth and character. The body was finished in a beautiful muted olive green, creating a custom two-tone “dip” effect.
We also built a custom solid wood base specifically for the dresser and finished it with new bronze hardware for a warm, updated look.
The drawers are traditional wood-on-wood construction and have been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. They slide smoothly and beautifully, maintaining that quality vintage feel you just don’t get with newer furniture.
There is some minor wear consistent with the age of the piece, but overall it has been beautifully restored and is ready for many more years of use.
A beautiful statement piece for a bedroom, guest room, or anywhere you want a little warmth and character.
