A beautiful vintage Kling dresser crafted with genuine solid cherry through and through, thoughtfully restored and modernized to highlight the natural beauty of the wood.
We completely sanded the dresser to bring out its rich cherry tones and gorgeous natural grain, then finished it with our secret ingredient sealer. We also added a custom handmade modern cherry wood base and updated the hardware with striking black-and-gold pulls for a clean, contemporary look.
The original Kling maker’s plaque and solid cherry label remain inside, preserving a connection to the piece’s vintage history. Kling Factories operated as a family business beginning in 1911, and its furniture was known for a wide range of bedroom styles. The company was sold in 1962, after which Ethan Allen continued using the Kling name on some furniture
Drawers open and close smoothly. All drawers are lined with beautiful wallpaper. Some minor wear and tear consistent with age and use.
This is a one-of-a-kind blend of vintage craftsmanship and modern design, restored with care and ready for its next home.
