Welder/ Fabricator Wanted
Salem area job shop looking for skilled Welder/Fabricator position.
REQUIRMENTS:
- Minimum (5) years verifiable & recent work experience.
- FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SMAW journey-level experience required.
- Read a tape measure and calipers.
- Have basic math skills.
- Lift up to 60 lbs.
- Read and understand blueprints and drawings.
- Follow procedures and instructions.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must read and speak English.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Assemble and weld a variety of materials including: stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel, and tool steel.
- Operate forklift, load and unload materials
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Follow procedures and instructions.
- Weld production runs and custom one-off parts in a fast-paced work environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS
- Must have basic hand/measuring tools.
- Must be capable of passing welder qualification tests as needed by project needs.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Verifiable work history required.
WORK SHIFT:
- Standard shop hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.
