Needing assistance (West Salem)

So this is a bit embarrassing but I'm in the situation that I need to ask for help. I have been unemployed for quite a few months now and I'm trying to go to college starting at the end of September. There's a few things that I need before the school term starts such as a couple of binders, paper,pens & pencils,highlighters, an index cards. Normally I could use financial aid but because I'm switching schools I don't know how much financial aid I will have and I don't want to wait till the last second to try and rush and get this stuff. If there was anyone out there that's willing to donate some of this stuff to me or can you give me resources that I could possibly get some of this stuff from before school starts would be great. I have tried a couple of the back to school events but all of them seem to be geared towards school age kids.
