Open Shifts in our Dedicated Support DSP in South Salem, Oregon:
•Mon - Fri 3pm - 10:30pm
•Wed - Fri 4pm - 9pm, Sat - Sun 3pm - 10:30pm
•Sat - Tues 4pm - 9pm
•Sun - Wed 10pm - 7:45am
•Thurs - Sat 10pm - 8:30am
Position Requirements:
Most positions require a valid Driver's License and to be able to drive agency vehicles. Some non-driving shifts may be available. Click the link to the application for a full list of qualifications and physical requirements for this position.
Job Duties:
•Distributing medications, cooking, house cleaning, providing/assisting with transportation, working through challenging behaviors, and intimate care, including personal health routines.
•Assist with communicating using a photo communication system.
•Communicate and work closely with the person's supported family on all supports provided.
•A second DSP also supports her for a large part of every day. You will share the work of personal care, cooking together, appointments, laundry, cleaning and other tasks.
•Promote and implement PCL’s mission in the lives of those we support.
•Provide a stable living environment by respecting dignity, individual choice, input, and health and safety needs.
•Be an active participant in the design, implementation, and monitoring of Person Centered Plans.
Certifications and Training:
•Must pass required DHS background check and Protective Service Investigations.
•Complete and maintain all certifications as required by the position, PCL, and other governing agencies, including CPR, Oregon •Intervention System, and Mandatory Abuse Reporting.
•Complete new-hire orientation and on-site training within 60 days of hire.
