For sale is my Arc (Buzz Box) welder. I've upgraded to a Lincoln IdealArc and will have to let this one go. It has been a fine machine, for fixing, modifying and making all sorts of things. As you can see it really lays down a nice bead. Used to fix the dump cart and welding up a couple of new log splitter brackets saved me a lot of coin. Not only fixing, and saving $, but it is fun.
Compare this with the Lincoln Tombstone --
1. The Amp slider is a shunt (i.e. No contact) whereas the Lincoln has discrete contacts that will arc if not shut off before changing the Amperage.
2. Removeable cables for easy storage, and additional length cables can be easily added or taken away.
3. They really are the same thing, Transformer Welders, size and weight, etc.
This is a 240V machine that I ran off a 50Amp breaker. I wired up the garage for this machine, and if I can do it, anybody can do it.
The stinger is almost new, and the helmet is no longer available.
I don't have a cell phone so no texting can be received or responded to. Call or email your interest in this welding machine. And lastly if this AD is still up, it is still available.
