About the Role
The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of pallets between customer locations and our pallet yard. This is a local driving position with daily routes, steady work, and the opportunity to be part of a team that takes pride in serving customers well.
What You’ll Do
· Operate a Box Truck to pick up and deliver pallets, generally completing 3–6 local runs per day.
· Transport recycled and new pallets safely to and from customer locations.
· Inspect loads to ensure pallets are properly stacked, counted accurately, and secured safely.
· Complete and verify required paperwork accurately.
· Communicate with dispatch and office team members regarding schedules, delays, or customer needs.
· Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
· Keep the truck clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
· Follow all DOT, company, and customer safety requirements.
What We’re Looking For
· Valid Drivers License
· Clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR check.
· Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening.
· Experience driving Box Truck
· Strong attention to detail for pallet counts, paperwork, and safety checks.
· Dependable, team-oriented attitude with a focus on serving customers well.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
· Ability to climb in and out of the truck multiple times daily.
· Ability to stand, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
