Very rough salvage condition.
An image search didn't come up with an exact match so I think I have a rare item here.
Antique, primitive, vintage felling ax or long handled hatchet.
Unique contour to head and haft handle. Rounded poll.
Handle is 36" long and head was made tight using nails not metal or wooden wedges. More evidence of its primitive beginnings.
Pick up near Cretin Derham Hall High School in St. Paul.
