This is a beautiful Turquoise in a Sterling Silver ring. Turquoise is a gemstone found in dry, barren locations. Turquoise is found in the Southwestern US, Persia, China, Australia, Tibet, Afghanistan, India and other places. Colors can range from greens to blues, and light to dark. Some matrix of other minerals can be present. This Turquoise measures about 17.52 x 9.37 mm, about .69 x .37 inch. It is free form shape. It weighs 5.93 carats. This is a gemstone that has naturally formed in the earth. Sometimes natural formation can leave fractures so it is sometimes protected with hardeners.
