Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, drywall repair, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray techniques), and other hand tools with precision and consistency
Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas during painting and maintenance tasks.
Assist with renovation tasks such, drywall installation, and restoration projects.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring compliance with all safety standards on site.
Skills
Proficiency in various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, construction spray painting, and coating application
Experience with surface preparation methods such as sanding, power tool use, drywall finishing, caulking, plastering.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), scaffolding systems, and ladders safely and effectively.
Basic math skills for measurements.
